The municipalities of Salt Lake City, Park City, and Summit County (“Communities”) are interested in expanding their efforts to develop renewable energy and reduce reliance on electricity generated from fossil fuels. The Community Renewable Energy Study (“Study”), evaluates the cost and rate impacts associated with serving all of the electricity load of Residential, Commercial, and Industrial customers within the Communities with renewable energy. This Study also examines the environmental and economic co-benefits of a transition to 100% renewable energy.
